Wine, women and purses?

You know what they say: Anything for a good cause. Or a glass of wine.
And by they, I mean me.
WELL Spa + Janice Spa at The Pfister will host the 2008 Wine, Women and Purses event from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the hotel's spa and salon, 424 E. Wisconsin Ave. That's three wonderful things in a row.
The evening will feature hors d'oeuvres (a word I can now spell without looking it up) from the Mason Street Grill, desserts and wines from around the world. Expect live entertainment, spa demonstrations, a silent auction, raffle and designer purses from specialty boutiques. Look for make-up applications, skin analysis and treatment, chair massages and eyelash and hair extension demonstrations.
